The agreement provides for a one-time flat-rate bonus for all members of the bargaining unit. The money available for this bonus is 4% of the salaries of all faculty members. If both parties do not approve of the new CBA, they go to an impasse, which means that the decision will be judged by an impartial judge. United Faculty of Florida (UFF) continues negotiations on salary increases for a f-IGP after a new round of collective bargaining (CBA) on January 8. The 8 January meeting consisted mainly of non-economic articles, and the Board of Trustees had no counter-proposal to address the issue of wages. Since then, BOT members have changed and the UNF has a new president and a new priest participating in the negotiations, which has made the problem more complex with the new faces.
